Welcome to a new month of dance with Just for Kix! We have so many exciting events planned for this week. Please take a moment to read through this list:

1). YES! We will have class on Monday, Oct 12th (Columbus Day). Hope to see you there!

2). UNIFORMS AND SHOES: I have a HUGE shipment arriving this week and will be distributing them at class on the 12th. Please check to make sure that sizes all fit before wearing. Let Ms Sharmayne know if you need to check fit or make an exchange! Thanks.

Thank you again for making this “New normal” work so we may have in person learning. It’s so great to be back in the class room and the dancers are doing fantastic! Best start of the year yet!

HI Everyone!

We have had a TREMENDOUS 1st month at JFK dance. The dancers have excelled at adapting to the “new normal” and have worked hard every class. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings!

October starts tomorrow and so does our tuition. The EASIEST way to pay each month is to set up AUTO PAY. Just LOG in to your account and click YES for Auto Pay. (Auto pay will stop in April for our last month of classes). If you do not select AUTO PAY, then you must go into your account each month and manually pay. Please do so before the 1st class each month. Late fees are applied on the 10th of each month if not paid, so please avoid this. Your JFK staff works hard to prepare and host classes each week and we do not get paid unless you pay. Thank you for taking care of this each month!

Also, just to clarify, some months have 3 classes, some have 4 classes, and some have 5 classes. We offer 8 months of classes and we will have 32 TOTAL classes for the year so it does average to 4 classes a month. We also DO NOT CHARGE a recital or spectator fee for our Christmas Holiday shows. These are included in your tuition rate.

Uniforms will be worn the 1st time at our Christmas shows so don’t forget to order ASAP! It takes about 8-10 weeks this time of year to receive them and we need extra time in case of exchanges. Again, thank you!

Lastly and most importantly, please watch your beautiful dancers at their Showoffs this week! So proud of their progress! Don’t worry if they are missing a step, we are learning!!

Thank you for a GREAT first week of dance!  Hope you received the Show-off link that we sent out last week of each performing class.  The dancers did a fantastic job of listening and learning and we are looking forward to Week #2!  Below is a couple of things to know and look forward to:
1)  JAZZ AND BALLET SHOE orders are beginning to arrive.  Do not panic if yours has not come in yet--they will get here!  TRY ON THE SHOES IMMEDIATELY AND MAKE SURE THAT THEY FIT PROPERLY--do not wear them to class if you are unsure.  If you need to make an exchange, USE THE BLUE PACKING SLIP, TURN  OVER ON THE BACK AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS TO GET AN RMA#.  Ms Sharmayne can help.  Leave them with a teacher, and I will mail them back for you.PLEASE HAVE STUDENTS WEAR THEM TO CLASS IF THEY FIT!  Thanks!
2)  REMIND 101 sign up--This is an additional method to send out IMMEDIATE info.  Dial 81010 and text @wford202 . ANYONE can join!
3)  Share the INFO for JFK with family who need to know!  If you have any grandparents, babysitters, friends etc that are dropping off dancers to class, please make sure that they receive the emails or know where to look for info about the program.   Each ONLINE ACCOUNT may have 2 email addresses.  Feel free to use them.  Sign them up for REMIND 101 too!  Let them know that we have a NEWS section on our website page and a FACEBOOK page.  All are great places to find out what is going on!
4)  Let any JFK staff member know if you have a question!  If they don't know an answer, they will find out and get back with you!~  I have the BEST STAFF!
