We are so excited to be putting on the final touches for our Holiday Show on Dec 14th these next 2 weeks! Please read the following info below for some important updates! Thanks!

1). December tuition is due Dec 1st (tomorrow). In addition to our fun classes, this month’s tuition will include FREE ADMISSION to our upcoming show, show sets and a fun keepsake for each dancer, staff salaries, facility rental, and a FREE digital video link of our show to share with your friends and families! More info below.

2). Costumes are continuing to arrive! The JFK home office is aware that our show is Dec 14th and they are working hard to get us all our costume needs (for all that have ordered to date). Check your dancer’s class status:

a). Tiny Kix—Should be almost all here
b). Pre Petites—Should be almost all here.
c). Wee Petites: Costumes are ready to ship at Home office and should be here by next week. (Keep your fingers crossed)
d). Wee Kix: Costumes are ready to ship and should be here by next week! Again, more fingers crossed!
e). Mini Kix—MOST Arrived today! YAY!

Anyone who has not received your costume—I will be in constant contact with the costume division and will be working to get it here!

If your costume is not the right size, please reorder the new one, and then fill out the blue form and get an RMA# and then give to me or a staff member for a REFUND. I will send it back for you at NO CHARGE for shipping.

3). Show T-shirts—may be ordered online at any time. They have already started arriving. These are NOT REQUIRED—just a fun holiday dance shirt to commemorate our fun dance show. ANYONE may order a shirt!

4). Dec 14th Show! COVID is making things really difficult to host a show, but we are determined to give our dancers a chance to perform and have an audience! We want to offer a safe and healthy environment for our dancers and all who attend. Please understand that we must follow the guidelines set forth by JFK, the CDC, the State of Texas and the FUMC for social distancing and health regulations. Not an easy task but we are up to the challenge! This is a FLUID Situation and plans can STILL CHANGE RIGHT UP TO THE DAY OF THE SHOW! PLEASE BE PATIENT AND UNDERSTANDING! There have already been changes from my last email to make it a better experience for everyone and be able to allow as many people to attend as possible. So here are the CURRENT PLANS:

1). Shows will be held at the following times: (All times are approximate but we will stay as close as we can)
Tiny Kix 5:00-5:30
Pre Petites 5:45-6:15.
Wee Petites 6:30-7:00
Wee Kix AND Mini Kix. 7:15-7:45
Jazz Technique. 7:45-8:45

2). By hosting shows in this way, more spectators can be allowed. Only family members may attend and keep in mind that every body counts as a person (including babies and toddlers)…we have to stay within 50% of the facility capacity and that includes dancers, family members and JFK staff. PLEASE DO NOT INVITE THE GENERAL PUBLIC. Admission is FREE to all shows.

3). We will have a videographer at EACH SHOW and will email you the links on a private YOU TUBE channel to share with ANYONE you like. All free of charge! Hopefully this will allow you to have fun get togethers during the holiday or to send to grandparents etc who live out of town.

4). Spectators must social distance their chairs by family. We will have chairs available and we will spread them out over the gym. You can also choose to stand as well.

5). Spectators and dancers 10 and up MUST wear a mask. Dancers may remove when they line up for their class entrance. They do not have to wear while dancing although ANYONE can wear a mask if they so choose.

6). Show entrance through the lobby doors and exit through the south doors (just like class). EVERYONE must exit and re-enter after each show so we can clean the chairs, props, etc. If you have a dancer in 2 different shows and they are b

What a great week of dance! Our Christmas dances are fun and the dancers are doing a great job learning and preparing for our December Show!

Just a couple of updates:

1). Costumes are beginning to arrive! Please be patient, make sure you have ordered all the items you need and make sure they fit properly before the dancers wear them.

**COVID has delayed production and delivery of many styles. However the JFK main office is doing everything they can to get us the costumes we need before our first performance. I will keep you updated! Thank you!

2). We will NOT be performing at Christmas on the Square this year. They have limited the event due to COVID. So sad but we understand!

3) We WILL have our annual Christmas shows on Dec 14th. We are planning on 2 shows at this time—seats and admission will be limited due to the COVID rules and facility capacity. There will not be a charge to watch the shows but plans are to have tickets handed out to each dancer in Dec to ensure that we stay within the facility guidelines. I will get back to you on the number of tickets that can be allowed but it will be no less than 2 and no more than 4 tickets per family. (Dancers are NOT included in that number). I’m sorry to limit but we do not have a choice. All spectators 10 and over must wear a mask.

6 pm show: Tiny Kix and Pre Petites. Doors open at 5:45 pm

7 pm show: Wee Petites, Wee Kix and Mini Kix. Doors open at 6:45 pm so we can clean between shows.

4). NO CLASS during the week of Thanksgiving holidays. (Monday, Nov 23)

Welcome to November dance families! So excited to experience such great classes with our students. Just started our Christmas dances this week and we are already having a BLAST! Below is some information you need to know as well as save the dates and our weekly Showoff! Please read and enjoy your dancer’s progress!

1). Don’t forget to pay your November tuition if you haven’t already. Thank you for taking care of this!

2). Remind 101— make sure you have signed up for our text messages. Dial 81010 and text @wford202 to join. We use this app to send emergency messages regarding classes, weather, performance info etc.

3). NO classes during Thanksgiving week—Monday, NOV 23rd

4). ORDER your Celebrate Holiday shirts ASAP if you want one. They are $16 each and totally optional! You can purchase on your account and anyone can order if you need a fun holiday shirt. Again, they are not required—only for fun.

5). Dec 7—COSTUME DRESS REHEARSAL in class—wear your dance costume to class so we can practice wearing them and make sure everyone has all the items they need.

6). Dec 14—Winter Dance Shows! We will be presenting 2 dance shows on this night. Tiny Kix, Pre Petites and Mini Kix at 6 pm. Wee Petites, Wee Kix and Mini Kix will be at 7 pm. We will have more information about the shows at a later date!

7). Jan 4—Classes will resume for the Spring Semester. NO classes during Christmas break—Dec 21 and Dec 28.
