Dekalb / Sycamore - IL Just For Kix Director April Espe- Mapes is at the top of her game teaching dance classes in Dekalb / Sycamore - IL to children, which creates confidence, dance technique, friendship and a whole lot of fun!

Meet Our Instructors
Bethany Billips

Bethany Billips has been employed by DeKalb JFK for over 10 years. She was first hired as an assistant & now is in her 4th year as a Head Instructor! Fun fact Bethany was the FIRST dancer ever enrolled in DeKalb JFK 14 years ago! She is currently attending Aurora University with a focus on Elementary & Special Education! In her free time she enjoys soduku puzzles, creating Cricut projects, & listening to podcasts! Miss. Bethany loves working with our dancers and can't wait to see what the… More
Sarah Bordenaro

Miss. Sarah is entering her first year teaching with DeKalb JFK! Sarah has been dancing since she was 3 years old. After high school Sarah taught dance a few years at Studio 11 in Machesney Park. Sarah currently works as a radiographer at Fox Valley Orthopedics. She is so excited to bring ballet to the DeKalb JFK community!
Faith Brandonisio

After dancing 10 years with DeKalb JFK Faith is excited to join our staff as a Monday night assistant! She is currently attending Waubonsee Community College majoring in Elementary Education & plans on getting her real estate license! She is super excited to assist our younger dancers this season! Outside of dance she loves to hangout with friends & family, going shopping, and cooking!
Raelyn Colvin

Miss. Raelyn is joining us for her first year as a head instructor however she danced with DeKalb JFK for 7 years growing up! She also danced on the DeKalb High School dance team! She is attending NIU majoring in Elementary Education & is excited to get into the studio and share her love for dance with our students! Outside of dance she loves hanging out with friends & family!
Hannah Miller

Miss. Hannah started her dance career with the Waterman JFK program back in elementary school! She was a member and captain of the Indian Creek dance team throughout high school and also danced for Dance Dimensions. She graduated from NIU with a bachelors degree in child development in 2016 and now works in Oswego as a preschool teacher. This will be Hannah's 11th season with Dekalb JFK where she will be teaching a variety of hip hop & kick classes on Monday nights. She continues to grow her… More
Ravin Wilson

Ravin is returning for her 5th season with DeKalb JFK! Ravin danced with the Sycamore Spartan Dance team as well as the Sycamore Orchesis where she was an officer! She is currently attending NIU majoring in Education! Outside of dance she loves hanging out with friends. Ravin is excited to get back into the studio this season & has lots of goals for her dancers! She loves helping kids grow as dancers and is looking forward to all that this season will bring!

Brandon's Goal

Creates awareness and raises money to support the institutions, doctors and organizations that are working to seek better treatments for childhood cancer and to find a cure.
