After spending all day watching the weather forecast for this evening, we have decided to cancel all Paynesville Just For Kix classes for tonight, Tuesday, April 1st. I know I am making this call early, but I leave my house at 1:45pm on Tuesdays (in good weather) so needed to make a decision. With the impending forecast of snow, freezing rain, then more snow, it feels safest to cancel rather than having our families, teenagers, and staff on the roads!
We will not be holding a make-up class for any full season classes, as we have already built in make-up hours into the schedule, as was explained in earlier newsletters.
***Spring Teeny Kix will hold their make-up class on Saturday, April 12th from 9:30-10:00am at our usual location; please add this to your calendar!

Lindsey’s Classes Cancelled Tonight – Unfortunately Lindsey is sick this week, so all of Lindsey’s classes are cancelled tonight. This missed class time is covered by the built-in make-up hours that mass practice provides. Jess’ classes will meet as usual tonight!

The Paynesville Area Just For Kix program is for students ages 2 through 12th grade. Just for Kix is a wonderful program to help prepare dancers for the skill and technique that is needed for high school dance teams.
AT JUST FOR KIX, KIDS SHINE:
If your child's toes can't stop tapping...then Just For Kix is just the program for you. Our dance classes are the perfect way to introduce your child to the world of dance without having the high costs of other dance studios. We pride ourselves on providing a low stress, no pressure environment where young dancers can have fun while gaining relationships that will last a lifetime. At Just For Kix, we treat kids how we would want our own kids to be treated. Here, kids know they are loved and valued for who they are rather than for their dance experience and/or skill level!
TECHNIQUE and BASICS:
Basic placement and technique are a major focus. We work on creating good habits with the younger dancers. Coaches will provide the skill and technique to prepare dancers who are looking to try out for a High School Dance Team. Instruction is very hands on and focused. FLEXIBILITY and STRENGTH is focused on too! They are two key factors in becoming a great dancer; challenging dancers to advance and progress to their top potential.
CHOREOGRAPHY:
Our choreography is what built our business. It is creative, innovative, and age appropriate. Choreography teaches kick technique as well as basic dance technique in a team environment that is very visual to our audiences. Our classes are fast paced and fun. We have great music and great instructors.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
-Dancers will perform multiple times per season.
-Our older classes compete in a “low pressure” environment (4th through 12th grade kick classes; 2-12th grade jazz and hip hop classes).
-Our dancers wear one costume for each class for the year. Our costumes are tasteful and focus on age appropriate styles.
-Just For Kix prides itself on being organized. We get it done! Class time is maximized so every minute is utilized. Our goal is to have each and every class start on time and end on time.
