Brainerd - MN Just For Kix Director Ali Geraets is at the top of her game teaching dance classes in Brainerd - MN to children, which creates confidence, dance technique, friendship and a whole lot of fun!

"Ali Geraets (Clough) is a professional dancer, choreographer, expert dance instructor and designer for Just For Kix. She helps support a network of over 22,000 dancers in 14 states. She is also currently the Assistant Coach of the Brainerd Warrior Dance Team, "The Kixters", in Minnesota. She is versed in contemporary, hip hop, kick, pom, lyrical, jazz, ballet, as well as tap and has an extensive background. Meet Our Instructors
Amanda Clough

Amanda Clough graduated from Brainerd High School in 1998. She was a three year member of the Brainerd Warrior Dance Team "The Kixters". Amanda Directed the Aitkin Just For Kix Program from 2006-2014. She has been teaching at Brainerd Just For Kix since 2000. Amanda is the Event Coordinator at the Home Office where she orchestrates our Together We Dance Competitions, Bowl Game Tour and Summer Camps. Amanda is Married to Husband, Matt with their two children MaKayla and Macy.
Cindy Clough

Cindy's Bio
Macy Clough

Macy Clough trained at Brainerd Just For Kix for 16 years. She was a four year member of the Brainerd Warrior Dance Team and was recognized All Conference, All State and All Tournament. Macy also was a four year member of the Minnesota State University-Mankato Dance Team, the team most recently won a Double National Championship in Open Jazz and Pom in 2024. The team has won five National Championships during her time on the team.
Lauren Crenna

Lauren was born and raised in Brainerd MN. She danced for Brainerd Just For Kix for 13 years, where she trained in various styles. She assisted classes for younger dancers all through high school. She was a 4 year member of the Brainerd Warrior Dance Team “The Kixters.” She was awarded All conference, All state, and All tournament and other awards such as "Most Improved Rookie" and "Best Kicks". She was a captain her senior year. She went on to continue her dance career on the University of… More

Sharaia Goble

Sharaia has been dancing since the age of two. She trained at the Brainerd Just For Kix dance studio for 16 years taking classes in many various styles of dance such as kick, jazz, ballet, lyrical, and hip hop. She is a eight-year summer camp staff member for Just For Kix, where she was voted most organized and reliable staff in 2019. Madison Hjermstad

Madi, originally from Colorado and raised in Lakeville, Minnesota, has been passionate about dance since the age of three. She honed her skills at various studios in the Twin Cities and graduated from Studio 4 Dance, where she trained in a diverse range of styles, including contemporary, ballet, lyrical, jazz, tap, hip-hop, pom, and musical theatre. Danielle Larson-Schultz

Dani Larson-Schultz lives in Brainerd with her husband Dave, son Parker, and pup McDougal. Dani basically grew up in the Brainerd/Baxter area, moving here just before the start of 4th grade, and joined Mini Kix when she was 9. She was also on the high school dance team the Kixters. In middle school Dani began taking studio dance as well as dancing with JFK. She started teaching dance when she was 16 and started instructing at JFK summer camps while in high school. Cierra Meyer-Berg

Cierra Meyer-Berg trained at Brainerd JFK, was a five year member and Senior Captain of the Brainerd Warrior Dance Team. She was a two-time Heather Star Habeck Award (JFK Camp) winner in addition to being named Most Outstanding Dancer (JFK Camp). Cierra also danced on a Scheels Back-to-School commercial.
Maya Simmering

Maya began her dance career at the age of 2. She trained at Betty Jo's Dance Center in Apple Valley, MN in almost all styles of dance including ballet, jazz, tap, pointe, musical theatre, kick, lyrical, and contemporary. She graduated from Rosemount High School in 2017, and was a scholar athlete and varsity letter winner in track and field. Carlos Stroia

Born in Transylvania, Romania, Carlos Cornel Stroia founder of the Stroia Ballet Studios. In addition to running his company Carlos teaches in St Cloud and Brainerd for Just For Kix.

He made his professional debut at the age of 14, dancing for the Vienna Stats Opera in Vienna, Austria. He continued to perform as a guest artist internationally while completing his studies in Cluj, Romania. At 18, he represented Romania at the International Ballet Competition in Varna, Bulgaria. Amanda Weiss

Amanda has been involved in the dance and gymnastics world for many years, in many capacities. As an athlete, she started dance at JFK at the age of 4 and gymnastics at the age of 5. She enjoyed summer dance camps and was the recipient of the firecracker award and several solo championships. Brandon's Goal

Creates awareness and raises money to support the institutions, doctors and organizations that are working to seek better treatments for childhood cancer and to find a cure.
