How to Improve Your Flexibility Just For Kix

Consistency! Practice every day. 

Make sure you are warm when stretching. 

Two kinds of stretching: dynamic and static.

Dynamic- You are constantly moving through the stretches instead of just holding. Always dynamic stretch before dancing.

  • Runner’s stretch- keep going up and down. Both feet and hips turned to the wall. 

Static- Do this after dancing. Stretch and hold. 

Make sure you have the correct technique when you’re stretching. It will not help your muscles and body. 

Partner stretching are great to do too!
