What This Tour Includes

PERFORMING WITH FIRST CLASS CHOREOGRAPHY

Just For Kix is anticipating the greatest Outback Bowl Half Time Extravaganza ever presented! With your talent and our choreography, we are sure to WOW, DAZZLE and AMAZE the crowd. This years theme is “Kickin’ it Country”. You will perform in the middle of the field and be surrounded by the thousands of band members that play the music. The dancers are “highlighted” front and center!

ACCOMMODATIONS

We will be staying at the beautiful Renaissance Tampa Hotel International Plaza(Click Here) located in the vibrant Westshore business district of Tampa. Convenient to upscale shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Just 2 miles from Tampa International Airport. Our hotel is connected to the beautiful International Plaza(Click Here).. You walk right from the hotel to the Plaza.T here are 35 dining options there. From very fancy to casual. We suggest you go on line to check out the International Plaza.

SHUTTLE SERVICE

Your shuttle service from the Tampa International Airport (TPA) to the hotel is provided with your airline ticket purchase. At the end of the tour, you will be shuttled from the hotel back to (TPA).

MEALS

Your tour package includes numerous meals and snacks. Dinners include a New Year’s celebration dinner and awards banquet at the Renaissance Hotel. When you are not eating with the group you can choose from over 30 restaurants connected to the hotel.

FUN

It’s winter and you are in Tampa Florida! We have a jam-packed plan for you to have a great time when you are not practicing or performing. We will be going to Disney World, Busch Gardens and Clearwater Beach. There is an amazing “heated” pool at the hotel, we have a great New Years Eve party planned at the hotel plus much more!!!

FORMAL DINNER WITH AWARDS BANQUET

After all of the hard work you will be able to relax at the fomr al banquet. Most people wear “prom attire” This is an amazing meal where you will be with all of your friends tha tyou have meet this week.A t the end of the banquet we have a slide show and show the video of the performance.

A DAY AT CLEARWATER BEACH

One of our tour destinations will be Clearwater Beach. It is rated one of the TOP beaches in the world for its beautiful sugar soft sand. From shopping to sunbathing, to dining, you will find plenty to interest you at Clearwater Beach. It varies form year to year, but some years we go the day they hold a giant sand castle contest for the Outback Bowl. Some years we end up there the same days ash te college bands and cheerleaders who do impromptu performances on the beach.

EXCURSION TO BUSCH GARDENS

One of the days we attend Busch Gardens. Busch Gardens is both a Zoo and an Amusement Park. They have some of the best roller coasters in the whole world. Click Here to see more on Busch Gardens!

FULL DAY AT DISNEY WORLD

We take an entire day and head to Orlando Florida and end it Walt Disney. You can choose from one of their four amazing theme parks - World’s Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Animal Kingdom or Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Click Here to see more on Disney

NEW YEARS EVE CELEBRATION AND DINNER

PASTA DINNER -TALENT SHOW - DANCE
Pasta Dinner...Talent...Show...Dance! Dress up for the dinner with your friends in a yummy New Years Eve Pasta Dinner. (Attire dressy, not formal.) Then... Run change for the TALENT SHOW. Try out in advance to be a part of the TALENT SHOW. (To Tryout send a link to you tube to stacie@justforkix.com) Time limit max 2 minutes. (Unless approved longer for team performances.) Groups and individuals must submit their entries ahead of time on video or can try out live on day one of tour. Awards given for the BEST OF THE BEST. Dance, sing, monologue, juggle,...anything goes. (Keep everything tasteful please.) Don’t want to be involved.... enjoy being a spectator. Then...CHANGE AGAIN because you will want to put on your dancing shoes.  DANCE PARTY: Just For Kix STAFF will DJ a FUN and CRAZY night to RING IN THE NEW YEAR. Great music you will love. We are all dancers...so the ACTION never stops.

SAFETY

We are extremely proud that we have run VERY SAFE tours for 25 years! Safety is our number one priority ! There are nightly room checks and assigned bus checks. We will work off the buddy system at all times. Each person on the tour wears a wristband with a bar code and we scan people in and out wherever we go. Dancers are expected to read and follow the code of conduct. Safety is our TOP priority.

If you want something to HAPPEN....you are the one in charge of your destiny. When I am taking on a challenge...I adopt a failure is not an option attitude!!

If you go into fundraising with the attitude such as... “If we make enough, we will go” ....you might as well give up. You won’t make it.

You have to go in with the ....“We can make this happen and we WILL.” Failure is not an option. You have to go fishing for Moby Dick and bring along the tarter sauce. You have to jump off a cliff and learn how to fly on the way down. You have to KNOW you can do it and create a plan to make it happen.

Too many people look at the obstacles and figure out reasons why it won’t work. You need the leadership that makes you look past the obstacles and find ways to MAKE IT WORK

Set goals.

Start early.

Dream Big.

AIRFARE

Airfare must be purchase separately. We encourage you to book Airfare through Travelers Fare (800) 450- 3273. We suggest you check into this asap since airfare costs can incerase at anytime. You may also check into staying an extra night (as an upgrade) and flying in the day before as airfare may be significantly lower and a flight more easily accessible. We ask that participant’s flights arrive prior to 3:30pm on December 28th so you arrive on time for the opening meeting and first practice. Arriving earlier in the day will get your tour off to a better start!

REFUND POLICY

The first $300.00 deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. There are NO refunds available after November 10th. Please note these dates and policies when completing allf orms.

HOTEL DEPOSIT

A deposit, or credit card must be left at the hotel front desk upon arrival for incidental charges such as room service, telephone calls, etc. You must pay for these extra services prior to checking out of hte hotel January 3rd, 2011.

EXTEND YOUR STAY

If you experience difficulty traveling December 28th or January 3rd, you may opt to stay an extra night at your own expense. Call the hotel directly to arrange this.T he Renaissance Hotel Phone Number is 813-877-9200.

FAQ

Q: What ages of dancers do you accept?

A: We have three age groups.  First, is the Youth Team (2nd Grade through 6th Grade).  The next level is the Dance Drill Team (Ages 7th Grade and up).  Third is the Elite Team (High Skill Level is Required)

Q: What do I need to bring?

A: The dress for most of the activities is casual. Florida weather at this time of year could be warm and sunny (we hope!) or quite cool. Bring some shorts, but be prepared for anything. Evenings are chilly. We do practice outdoors so bring comfortable practice wear. If it is raining, we will still practice OUTSIDE, so pack accordingly. Don’t forget your swimsuit! A more detailed checklist will be included in a follow-up mailing including items each dancer will need to accompany with their uniform (ex; shoes, socks, etc.). On Banquet night dress is formal - Many dancers wear prom attire. Click Here for a Packing List.

Q: Can I choose my roommates?

A: Yes! The package price is based on quad occupancy rates. You will submit your rooming list. Please submit your list by September 1st. Please be ORGANIZED!! To qualify for a quad occupancy room, you must be traveling with four people or willing to share the room with people from another group. If there are three of you traveling together, you must choose the triple occupancy as we are unable to place a fourth person in your room.

A: Many dancers have paid for their entire trip by Fundraising !In order to help you raise the necessary funds fo r the Outback Bowl National Dance Tour we have partnered with eFundraising/QSP. It is now easier than ever to reach your fundraising goal.

FREE FAM (Familiarization) TRIP. IF YOU FEEL THAT YOUR TEAM IS INTERESTED IN THIS EVENT FOR 2012-2013 HOLIDAY SEASON… contact us now. We are taking the first 25 coaches who show an interest on a free “familiarization” trip to Florida. Dates for the fam trip are: 6/14/12 - 6/17/12. FREE hotel, a FREE hotel dinner, FREE trip to Busch Gardens, FREE trip to the beach, FREE hotel breakfast, FREE restaurant dinner.
