The answers you need to get started on your Just for Kix Outback Bowl Performance Tour.

Q: What is the tour cost?

A:  Just For Kix is very sensitive to pricing our tour. Each year we give close consideration to providing the best VALUE for the dancers.

Tour participants may choose to upgrade to a double, triple or single room occupancy. Rates are based on per person. Please note: airfare is not included in these prices.

Airfare can be booked through Travelers Fare: 1-800-450-FARE.

Q: What are the scheduled payment dates?

Q: What does the land package include?

Q: Does Just For Kix have any information on fundraising?
A:  We certainly do! Over the years, hundreds of dancers have paid for their entire tour through fundraising or sponsorships from local organizations. With a little determination and dedication, you can too! The Just For Kix staff is also available for any questions regarding fundraising. E-mail cindy@justforkix.com

Q: What is a typical tour schedule like?
A:  We’re proud of how much we fit into the seven-day trip. It’s a strategic blend of performance practices and participant fun and free time. Nonetheless, the heart of the tour is PERFORMANCE DAY and we never fail to provide a first-rate show. The pre-game and half-time performances are key to the overall tour experience. We offer a different theme every year, so those performers returning get a new challenge.

Q: What are the dancer ages?
A:  There are two age divisions:

  • 2nd grade - 6th will dance in one number at half-time and be added into the finale’ as well. For pre-game, we will continue to give the younger dancers the option to perform.

  • 7th grade and up will be in several numbers of the half-time and the pre-game.

Q: What do I need to bring?
A:  The dress for tour is mostly casual. Florida weather could be warm and sunny or cool. Bring shorts, but be prepared for anything, as evenings can be chilly. We do practice outdoors, so bring comfortable practice wear. If it is raining, we will still practice outside. Pack accordingly! Don’t forget your swimsuit! On Banquet night dress is formal. A more detailed checklist will be included in a follow-up mailing including items each dancer will need to accompany with their uniform (shoes, socks, etc.).

Q: Can I choose my roommates?
A:  Yes! The package price is based on quad occupancy rates. You will submit your rooming list. Please submit your list by September 5th. To qualify for a quad occupancy room, you must be traveling with four people or willing to share the room with people from another group. If there are three of you traveling together, you must choose the triple occupancy, as we are unable to place a fourth person in your room. Double occupancy is normally a room with a king bed. Q: How do I get sign up for the New Year’s Eve Talent Show?
A:  Any performer can participate! It’s a very supportive environment and in past years have had jazz team ensembles, singing, tap, monologue, and gymnastics. The routine limit is two minutes. (Unless pre-approved longer for team performances.) E-mail amanda@justforkix.com if you are interested for more information.

Q: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner! What is and is not included?
A:  Tour participants will receive 5 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 dinners; including 1 Awards Banquet meal, over the course of the 7-day tour. Performers will also receive snacks.

Q: How does airfare work?
A:  Airfare must be purchased separately. We encourage you to book airfare through Travelers Fare (800) 450- 3273. Check into this as soon as possible since airfare costs can increase at anytime. You may also check into staying an extra night (as an upgrade) and flying in the day before as airfare may be significantly lower and a flight more easily accessible. Arriving earlier will get your tour off to a better start!

Q: Is there shuttle service available?
A:  Yes! Your shuttle service from the Tampa International Airport (TPA) to the hotel is provided with your airline ticket purchase. At the end of the tour, you will be shuttled from the hotel back to (TPA).

Q: Do I need to provide a hotel deposit?
A:  Yes. A deposit, or credit card must be left at the hotel front desk upon arrival for incidental charges such as room service, telephone calls, etc. You must pay for these extra services prior to checking out of the hotel.

Q: Can I extend my stay?
A:  Absolutely. If you experience difficulty traveling you may opt to stay an extra night at your own expense. This needs to be booked through Just For Kix, contact amanda@justforkix.com

Q: What is the Outback Bowl Performance Tour refund policy?
A:  The first $300.00 deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. There are NO refunds available after November 10th. Please note these dates and policies when completing your forms.

Q: If I want to purchase extra tickets to the Game, Disney or Busch Gardens how do I do that?
A: Extra tickets for those events should be purchased on your own at the gate (Disney & Busch) and you can order the game tickets on Ticketmaster once the teams are announced.

Q: If I want to purchase extra tickets to the Dinner Banquet or the Dinner Cruise how do I do that?
A: Unfortunately with the high number of participants in the tour this year we can not sell extra tickets to these two events due to space.

Pending Approval

You have selected a program that has limited availability. We must confirm availability with the provider before completing your selection. This process will be completed within 48 hours. During the 48 hour period you will have a reserved spot in your selected listings (1st choice and 2nd choice). If your 1st choice is not available, the registration process will automatically proceed with your 2nd choice.

Pending Payment

Your registration is pending payment. Payment will be processed within 48 hours and you will receive a receipt by email.

Pending Membership Status

Discount must be approved by provider. If provider does not approve discount, selection will be processed without the discount.

Maximum Possible Purchase Price

Because you have selected a program with limited availability, or one that requires a skill assessment, an actual total cannot be calculated at this time. The maximum Possible Purchase Price assumes that you are registered for the listings (whether 1st or 2nd choice) with the greatest purchase price.

You will receive one or more receipts which reflect the actual total for all charges. You will receive this within 48 hours unless one of your activities or camps is still pending a skill assessment.

Annual Membership Fees

An additional fee for those programs that meet annual membership fee criteria.

Brandon's Goal

Creates awareness and raises money to support the institutions, doctors and organizations that are working to seek better treatments for childhood cancer and to find a cure.

Refund Protection

For $7 per program, due at the time of registration, Refund Protection entitles you to a full refund of your registration if you cancel for any reason at least 2 weeks before the program start date.
