Q: Who will be there?
A:  You will meet dancers from many different cities and states. Many dancers stay in touch online and look forward to rekindling friendships again the next summer.
Q: What about different age levels, how does that work?
A:  Dancers are divided into groups, K-1st, 2nd-3rd, 4th-5th, 6th-7th, and 8th-9th. All dancers can cross over to a different group if the want to be with a friend. (Class divisions will vary from camp to camp depending on size.)
Q: What are the times for the 4-day Camp St. Cloud?
A:  Just For Kix Studio - St. Cloud
K-3rd grade will dance from 8:00 a.m. – noon
Grades 4th & up will attend Brainerd camp, bussing is available.

    The St. Cloud camp is held at the St. Cloud Just For Kix studio. The studio is a more contained environment that the dancers will love! Older dancers will also benefit from the hands-on training and studio mirrors. The studio has mirrored dance rooms and Harlequin floors which are created to cushion dancers’ legs. Dancers will also enjoy a comfortable lobby to relax in and a dance shop!
Q: What about Junior High Dancers?
A:  Junior High dancers are challenged more. They learn more complex routines and we use some of the same materials we teach around the country at high school camps! Junior high dancers also receive tips on nutrition, technique work and preparation for high school teams.
Q: Do participants have to be members of a Just For Kix program?
A:  No! We welcome Studio dancers and friends of current Just For Kix dancers to Camp every year.
Q: What can I expect?
A:  Each day we start out with MASS GROUP AEROBICS. These are high energy and are led by our motivating instructors. Cheers and announcements follow.
Q: What will I learn?
A:  At camp, you will learn three new routines. Usually a kick, hip-hop and jazz routine plus one technique and skills class. You will change instructors each hour.
Q: What do I wear to camp?
A:  Something you can dance in: shorts, a leotard, leggings, jazz pants, or a t-shirt. Dance shoes are required, too! Make sure to check out the THEME DAYS to see if anything special is needed. Learn more HERE.
Q: What should I bring to camp?
A:  You will want to bring your lunch (except for North Dakota & Iowa dancers), a water bottle, snacks for breaks, money for the camp store, a great attitude and YOUR FRIENDS!
Q: What do I wear to the camp show the final day?
A:  Your camp t-shirt, which you will receive on Day 1. Bottoms can be any type of active wear such as leggings, shorts, or jazz pants and your dance shoes.
Q: What are the lunches?
A:  Lunch is not served at Youth Camps, with the exception of the North Dakota and Iowa Camps. These lunches are catered by the colleges and are included in the camp fee.
Q: Do any Camp locations offer bussing?
A:  Yes! Check back for 2014 bussing information.
