Just For Kix started in April, 1981 as a "part-time" venture out of Cindy and Steve Clough's home.

Cindy had been coaching the Brainerd High School dance team, of Brainerd, Minnesota, since 1976. She Started a non-competitive junior team called Just For Kix.  Within a year Just for Kix, a program of precision dance team instruction, began to grow in popularity across Minnesota.

Today Just For Kix is made up of three growing divisions.

DANCE CLASSES:
Just For Kix oversees dance team programs in over 180 communities and approx. 20,000 dancers throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska and Wisconsin. The Just For Kix motto, "doing your best is more important than being the best", puts the prime motivation on team work and self-esteem.

CAMPS AND SPECIAL EVENTS:
Camps:
Just For Kix Camps are the focus for another division of the company. Just For Kix Dance Camps are team camps offered in 4 states. There are also elementary and junior high day camps offered for kids in grades K-9 in Minnesota. Private camps can be set up anywhere, per your request.

Special Events: 
Just For Kix offers some exciting special events throughout the year.  One of our favorites is the Outback Bowl in Tampa.  We travel to Florida every December with dancers from all over the country to perform at the halftime of the Outback Bowl.  JFK has been putting on halftime shows for over 20 years.  Click on events to see more of this great event and others that we have to offer.

Just For Kix Catalog:
In 1988, the company expanded to include the Just For Kix Catalog, this was in an effort to further serve the dance community with access to quality products. Just For Kix Catalog recently moved their offices to a larger facility, to assure continued growth, and provision of quality, on-time service and shipping for their customers.

Since day one, Just For Kix has been about providing quality programs, services and products with a "shining" quality that's second to none.
