DANCING AS ONE

All that work,
the sweat,
the fears,
It seems you've cried one million tears.
You try and try,
and still it's wrong,
the music starts,
you must go on.
You must try harder,
keep up the pace,
as the music rises,
your heart begins to race.
It's part of you now,
it's in your blood,
it's in your soul.
You strive to reach
your long dreamed of goal.
Your smile is bright,
your eyes, they shine,
and in your heart, you know, it's time,
to give it all, and still give more,
you start to hear the music,
and the crowd begins to roar.
You feel like you're flying,
the music sounds great,
your favorite step is coming,
and you just can't wait.
Your weakness is gone,
you raise up your chin,
on the face you show,
you're desire to win.
You look at your line
and you realize one thing,
dancing alone,
is not what it means.
It's the giving and the caring
that adds to the fun.
Because now we have learned
to dance as one!
